Yup, get the headaches when starting a diet and also when trying to curb caffeine. Your body needs time to adjust. I agree with Devon, water helps in many ways.
Maybe it's the sugar, because I rarely drink caffeine. Or maybe it's just the stress of the overwhelming nature of the change and it's all in my head for the first two days. But probably it's cutting down on my sugar ;)
Many foods contain ingredients like MSG that keep you "addicted" to them. The side effects can be tough, but once you get going with the healthy foods... you will actually start wanting more of the nutritious ones. I never thought I would "crave" salad... but now I do. I have also started taking a vitamin that promotes metabolism. They are Equate brand from Walmart very inexpensive but it is keeping me "going"! :)
Yes, usually when I'm trying to get off sugar. Hang in there...keep drinking water! This too shall pass :)
